The Free Spirit Foundation will offer a travel to Paris (3 days and 2 nights) to the 5 members of the winning team.

During those 3 days, the winners will be invited to the EMAJINARIUM concert created by Free Spirit Foundation. It will take place on March 20th, 2021 at ‘La Seine Musicale’, an amazing and sustainable location dedicated to music and art. During this show, 200 artists will combine their talent to raise funds in order to plant trees and restore the forest, the natural habitat of endangered species (please find more information on our program « RE-GREEN THE PLANET » .  The prize includes flight tickets to Paris and hotel for 2 nights: Accor group Hotel (IBIS) in Paris. It will be also a great opportunity for the winners to visit emblematic places such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. The prizes will also include a visit of the Louvre museum and ‘Le Jardin des Plantes’.

During the next 2 years following the Zoohackathon, 3 mentors expert in new technologies will bring their support to the winners and will help them developing their innovative solution. They will have a video conference call together every 4 months (around 1h30). During those meetings, the mentor will:

• Ask for an update of the project
  
• Provide some advice and recommendations to improve the project and face challenges
  
• Activate his/her professional network to support the project
  
• Provide some relevant advice to the winners for their own career & professional ambitions

The Free Spirit Foundation will organize a trip to Kenya or Zimbabwe in 2021 in order to visit the sanctuary of one of the Free Spirit Foundation partners. These partners are wildlife conservation non profit organization protecting endangered species. That trip will give an amazing opportunity for the representative of the team to meet experts in the field. One of these organizations works with rangers covering a large area in Kenya to protect species. The prize will include a trip for the team representative and 2 members of the Free Spirit Foundation.

The Free Spirit Foundation has created ‘Recreer le FUTUR’, which is a summit dedicated to promoting solutions for a positive impact for the planet. It will take place in autumn 2021 in Paris. This major event will be a real opportunity to discuss topics about hot issues such as wildlife conservation, protection of the oceans, protection of the forest, etc… We expect 100 journalists, 3000 visitors, 150 speakers but also major companies including potential investors. Our ambition is to raise almost 50 positive impacts solutions from this very first edition.

The winning team will choose one representative member (within the team) who will be invited to take part in the « Solutions Village » and present the solution. It will be an amazing opportunity to improve the solution visibility and to raise new opportunities: private companies might be interested in supporting and accelerating the development of the solution.

The members of the winning team at the 2nd position will get a laptop or a tablet with Android software. Android is a mobile operating system based on a modified version of the Linux kernel and other open source software, designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Android is developed by a consortium of developers known as the Open Handset Alliance and commercially sponsored by Google. It was unveiled in November 2007, with the first commercial Android device launched in September 2008.

It is free and open source software; its source code is known as Android Open Source Project (AOSP) which is primarily licensed under the Apache License. However most Android devices ship with additional proprietary software pre-installed, most notably Google Mobile Services (GMS) which includes core apps such as Google Chrome, the digital distribution platform Google Play and associated Google Play Services development platform.

For each member of the team, the Free Spirit will offer a t-shirt of the program INAUDIBLE VOICES, our wildlife conservation program. We’ll also offer a book (in French and in english) of the show EMAJINARIUM – Behind the scenes. It is a book that includes all the secrets of a beautiful show with 160 artists of the Free Spirit Foundation. Amazing costumes, props, bodypainting, accessories of that show dedicated to raise funds for vulnerable children across the globe.
