Zoohackathon 2020

PARTICIPANTS

Participants are IT university students, project managers, IT experts, and wildlife enthusiasts all from Europe countries who want to commit themselves into a unique competition. They want to use their knowledge & expertise to make the world better, trying to find the best innovative solutions to fight against wildlife trafficking and to help preserving biodiversity.

SUPPORT TEAM

Support team will be composed by IT experts who can help participants with technical problems during the event.

JURY

The jury is composed by 7 people. Their mission is to choose the winning team.

MENTORS

Mentors will provide participants with advice, tips and recommendations in order to help them with potential issues during the event. They will be key partners during the whole competition.

Mentors are not only familiars with wildlife trafficking but also with new technologies, IT, project management or legislation issues.

Participants and mentors will develop a strong relationship as the winning team will be supported by their mentors for 2 years following the event in order to develop the solution.
